Yesterday was September 11th, and it honestly made me really sad to
think about all that happened. I thought about where I was, how I
felt watching tv, and what kind of shock my college mates and I were
experiencing. My grandmother lived in D.C. and we couldn't get
ahold of her for 2 or 3 days, and it freaked me out to no end! I
found some cool stuff here, and I would highly suggest supporting the troops and people who make our lives free. Thanks to our humble servants!
Summer is here! Finally. I can't wait to lay out in the sun and go to the water parks here in Cincinnati. King's Island is a great place to go for the summer. They have some fantastic new rides like The Scream Machine and The Python. These are great rides for the whole family since they are safe and not too scary for little kids. They also have a great venue for summer concerts called the Moonlight Gardens. I got to see a great band called Over the Rhine last summer and I am looking forward to the Toad the Wet Sprocket Reunion show this summer! It's been 7 years since the band broke up and played. These are exciting times if you happen to be an Atlanta Braves fan. After their monumental win on the fourth to break a 7 game skid the Braves were back in action on July 6th for their final series game against the Cardinals. They rolled over St. Louis 14-4 on Wednesday night for a series win at
Turner Field, pounding out 16 hits to help rookie Chuck James improve
to 3-0 in three game starts. Edgar Renteria and Adam LaRoche had three hits
a piece and Chipper Jones drove in three runs for the Braves, who have
won seven of 12 games since a 3-20 skid. It looks like the Atlanta Braves are back in action and Major League Baseball won't be the same again. Help fight back with the Braves and support the team with new Atlanta Braves jerseys and Atlanta Braves hats. What better way show your team pride.
Oh my...So this afternoon I was walking around Tower Park and saw the most outrageous party for a two year old. I read a news story about $15,000 kid birthday parties being the new trend, well this wasn't one of those but it was extreme to the max. The whole thing was based on the lovely character Curious George - recent smash movie. The entire Curious George Birthday party was brimming with Curious George birthday party supplies which are easy enough to find online. Love your kids but don't smother - believe me...
